Question
We have a question regarding Acquisition expenses. Should the acquisition expenses include the commission received from the reinsurers for the ceded busines?
If not, where such income should be reported?
EIOPA answer
Commission received from the reinsurers for the ceded business should be reported in Acquisition expenses, under the “Reinsurers' share” in rows R0940 or R2220.
