Question
Several questions regarding this quantitative reporting template for the preparatory phase:
Lines LS0 (L1+L4) and LS6F (L6B+L7) are put in dotted in order to point out that if the required split for TP life and non-life is not available, it is possible to fill only lines LS0 and LS6F with the totals (for Statutory accounts).
1) Line A7B is not dotted but the description of the line says that "For the statutory accounts the split between listed and unlisted may not exist and if this is the case this item need to reflect the sum: A7B=A7+A7A". I understand that even though there are not dotted lines, the approach is similar to lines LS0 and LS6F.
Is this correct?
2) Same thing for line A8E. "For the statutory accounts the split of bonds may not exist and if this is the case this item need to reflect the sum: A8E=A8+A8A+A8C+A8D". Is this correct?
3) Line A19B (for Statutory accounts A18A+A19) does not include dotted lines nor a description indicating that if the split is not possible then the sum can be directly reported. The quantitative reporting template BS-C1 from EIOPA Final Report on Public Consultations No. 11/009 and 11/011 On the Proposal for the Reporting and Disclosure Requirements as at July 2012, for line AS17A, allowed to report the split (if possible) or the total.
I believe that the split or not in this line should be consistent with the split or not of line LS6F.
Could you confirm whether it is compulsory to report the split or not?
4) Same question for line A17A.
EIOPA answer
In fact the template was not clear identifying which items were mandatory and optional regarding the column of Statutory Accounts. The situation will be made clear in the Technical Standard.
For clarification the split between the following items is optional regarding the column on the Statutory Accounts: A7/A7A; A8/A8A/A8C/A8D; A14A/A14B/A14C; A17/A18; A18A/A19; L1/L4; L6B/L7; L15D/L26. The cells A7B, A8E, A14, A17A, A19B, LS0, LS6F, L15E are mandatory and should reflect, in the cases where the split is also reported, the sum of the previously identified cells.
