Question
From reviewing the QRTs (both those released in July 2012 and as part of the EIOPA Final Report on Public Consultation No. 13/010) we have noticed a number of different date formats being used in the instructions/examples.
For example:
Assets
DD/MM/YYYY
Own Funds
DD MMM YYYY (e.g. 31st January 2012)
YYYY/MM/DD (e.g. 2012/01/31)
Data Point Model
YYYYMMDD ISO format
Could you please advise if there is a standard date format to be used across all templates?
EIOPA answer
All dates will be asked using the format ISO 8601, meaning yyyy-mm-dd.
All LOGs will be amended/clarified when drafting the ITS.
