Question

How we should report the sum reinsured or sum insured amount if a policy that has one limit and covers multiple Solvency II LOBs. For example, a policy number has a limit of $10m. It is an A&H group line. When we carry out the mapping, it covers Medical, Income protection and assistance. Do we report the $10m separately three times or we split the $10m among the three LOBs?

EIOPA answer

The policy needs to be reported by LoB but identifying the same "Reinsurance Program Code" and "Risk identification code". If the $10m may be used by any of the LoBs, then it should be repeated for all LoB. In S.30.02.R0140 please indicate that the $10m indicated correspond to a policy limit covering all LoB.
