ESAs report on the landscape of ICT third-party providers in the EU

The European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs), together with the competent authorities, in 2022 carried out a joint high-level analysis with the objective of getting a preliminary overview of the provision of information and communication technology (ICT) services to the EU financial entities by ICT third-party service providers (TPPs). The analysis was performed to inform preparations for the application of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

The exercise identified around 15,000 ICT TPPs directly serving around 1600 EU financial entities included in the sample.
