Question

What should be done when company purchases same fund twice but quoted in different currencies (and both are purchased!).

This situation is reflected in S.06.02 by using special coding reflecting the fact company owns both funds - for example:
CAU/ISIN/UK1234567890+USD
CAU/ISIN/UK1234567890+EUR

My question is, how should this be reflected in the S.06.03? Should we consider UK1234567890 as single fund (therefore group the USD and EUR denominated fund) and perform look-through or should it be considered as two separate funds, properly identified by special coding and then performed look through?

EIOPA answer

Due to the validations BV 433 and BV434 this funds should be reported twice in S.06.03 as well.
