Question Cross-Check CAS34 to CAS38 (Technical Provisions template – S.12.01)
The link to the cells in these cross-checks is each time to cell number 1, for every combination of Line of Business (LOB). Could we assume that the cell numbers should correspond with the number of the Line Of Business? For example: should ‘B1[LOB:LOB33]’ be cell ‘B6’ (‘Lines of business for Annuities stemming from non-life contracts’)?

Your interpretation is correct. The solution when describing this validation was drafted in this way for IT reasons. As indeed may create doubts we will clarify this in future.
