Is our understanding correct, that an ICT-service only “supports” a critical or important function if it is material and not only helpful for the critical or important function?
EIOPA answer
This question has been rejected because it seeks to reinterpret the regulation introducing the concept of ‘materiality’ which is not in DORA (Regulation (EU) 2022/2554). Article 28(3) is clear and does not introduce the concept of “material” support.
