Question
We have a couple of questions following the change of the scope of this QRT to direct business only (as set out in the DRAFT business package supporting 2.8.0 taxonomy): - Should there not be an additional option for S.01.01 R0250: "Not reported as no direct insurance business"? - Also shouldn't the line of business list for C0030 exclude 35 and 36 as these are both reinsurance?
EIOPA answer
EIOPA confirms that S.14.01 template is limited to direct business and as such the line of business list for C0030 shall exclude 35 and 36. The proposal to include additional option for S.01.01 R0250: "Not reported as no direct insurance business" will be analysed during the next ITS amendments.
