Question

Do you expect pending payable or receivable amount to be reported in the S.06.02 report? For example pending buy/ sell securities, dividend, charges transactions, inwhich the amount is not paid/received before report date. The amount will settle after report date. Do yo expect this in the report S.06.02? If you expect this amount in S.06.02, could we report this total pending amount in one row with CIC XT79?

EIOPA answer

IFRS 9 allows both 'trade date' and 'settlement date' accounting for 'regular way purchase or sale', which means here that either the transaction is already recognised at reporting day under 'trade day accounting' or will only be recognised after the reporting day following 'settlement accounting'. In the trade day account case, the outstanding amount is a receivable/ payable, whereas in the 'settlement accounting' case nothing is booked before settlement day.
