Question
Why are items S.06.02.C0070 (Fund number) and S.06.02.C0080 (Matching portfolio number) optional in the "Annotated templates" file? Does that mean that undertakings can decide whether they report this information or not?

The remark “Optional” in the Annotated templates has to be understood from a database perspective and it means that data do not always have to be provided. The LOG on the other hand clearly states when these items, S.06.02.C0070 (Fund number) and S.06.02.C0080 (Matching portfolio number), need to be reported.
