Question

Recently, I have read the question and answer of Q&A process on SII Technical Specification (link https://eiopa.europa.eu/fileadmin/tx_dam/files/publications/technical_specifications/Q_A_for_Preparatory_Phase_Technical_Specifications_-_Set_4.pdf) - version 11 June 2014.

The question starts as follows:
"My question regards the non-EEA regions to be considered in the calculation of the SCR for windstorm risk........."

I believe some amendments to the NAT CAT spreadsheets in relation to non-EEA regions should be made, judging on the basis of provided anwer to the aforementioned question.

Is that correct? If not, where countries like Russia, Ukraine should be included?

EIOPA answer

In fact the table of Natural Catastrophe risk – Windstorm has to be amended. The following amendments will be included:
- French Republic row should also refer to Principality of Monaco and Principality of Andorra;
- Under “Other regions” regions 1-4 of Annex L have to be included to allow the reporting of the exposures in countries of those zones, excluding the ones referred to in Annex O or Annex N.

Unfortunately these changes cannot be seen in the package under public consultation.
