Frank Beekmann is head of section GIT 2 in BaFin and a member of the JC SC DOR. He is also a member of several other national and international working groups around incident reporting, third party risk, operational resilience and crisis management.
In 2013 he joined BaFins' quantitative risk models section, where he worked on issuing regulatory requirements with respect to risk models. Before joining BaFin, Frank headed up teams in two international banks in the risk model area. He holds a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Economics/Management information systems.
