Biography
Alison Bough, BSc Psych (Hons), MA CBT, MSc Health Psych., MA Media & International Conflict, is a Health Psychologist and strategic policy advocate with extensive experience in behavioural psychology, ageing, and international development.
As Head of Policy & Programmes at Active Retirement Ireland, Ireland's largest membership organisation for older people, Alison drives European and domestic policy advocacy, championing the rights and well-being of older individuals.
She applies evidence-based, cross-sector approaches to influence public policy, fostering systemic change in ageing and health at both national and European government levels. Alison is also the representative for Ireland on the AGE Platform Europe Council of Administration and a member of their Task Force on Adequate Income and Social Inclusion.
