Around half of all adults in the EU lack a good understanding of basic financial concepts. These are essential for a healthy, modern economy.
Global Money Week is an annual campaign raising awareness of the vital skills children and young people need to make well-informed decisions about money.
To accompany this, EIOPA has produced films and lesson plans to help your students learn these essential life skills.
By explaining the risks and benefits associated with pensions and insurance, you will be promoting your students’ long-term financial well-being.
We’ve tried to create content that will appeal to a broad range of ages and abilities. But we encourage you to adapt this outline to suit the specific needs of your class. While the materials are only currently available in English, please consider adapting to your own language, for example by adding subtitles. If we have additional language versions, we will also publish them.
