Biography
Elena Pizzocaro is Group Head of Strategy & Business Transformation at Assicurazioni Generali, a role she has held since 2024 with responsibility for defining the Group’s strategy and driving its major transformation and innovation programs. Previously, she was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising leading European insurers on strategic and innovation initiatives across multiple markets.
An actuary registered since 2009, Elena has more than 15 years of international experience working with insurance groups in Italy, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. In 2025, she was elected Member of the Comitato Nazionale Attuari (CNA). She is also the author of articles and a frequent speaker at conferences on innovation and artificial intelligence in the insurance sector.
Elena holds a degree with honors in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences from the Università Cattolica of Milan, studied at the University of Technology in Sydney, and earned an MBA from the Politecnico di Milano.
