Question
If my group consolidates using method 1 (full consolidation) then the consolidation process will effectively eliminate any Intra Group Transactions.
As a result my IGT QRTs will have no entries.
Is this what you expect?
EIOPA answer
Templates S.36s support the supervisoon of Intra Group Transactions according to article 245 of Solvency II Directive.
This supervison is applicable regardless of the method used to calculate group solvency and regardless if the IGT were eliminated in the consolidated balance-sheet.
Groups should report any significant intra-group-transactions above the threshold determined by the group supervisor in accordance with Article 245(3) of Directive 2009/138/EC.
