Article 4.1 (d) of IDD requires that any insurance, reinsurance, or ancillary insurance intermediary who intends to carry on business within the territory of another Member State for the first time, under the freedom to provide services, shall communicate the following information to the competent authority of its home Member State: d) the relevant classes of insurance, if applicable
In case no information on the relevant classes of insurance is communicated to the host NCA, does it mean that the insurance distributor could distribute all insurance classes in the host Member State, or should in such a case the host NCA request the information on the insurance classes from the home NCA?
