Question
Difference in the default setting of the trigger C0130 which has been changed in taxonomy 2.5.0 for the BV783 validation. A default value has been added for C0130 which takes the value 0 when it is empty which creates XBRL errors. Will this be fixed in a future release?
Background of the question
We have the BV783 control that constantly goes out in error in Taxonomy 2.5.0 while this is not the case in Taxonomy 2.4. (with the same data) This control has not been modified in the "EIOPA_SolvencyII_Validations_2.5.0" file since taxonomy 2.4. According to the XBRL provider, this is a difference in the default setting of the trigger C0130 that has been changed in taxonomy 2.5.0. A default value has been added for C0130 which takes the value 0 when it is empty. The control is supposed to be triggered only when the column C0130 is not empty. (The same concern exists on the BV784 and BV787 controls). Will this be fixed in a future release? Thank you in advance for your answer
EIOPA answer
We are happy to inform you that all three validations were corrected for the Hotfix taxonomy release available on the EIOPA website. The brief descriptions of the amendments for this release can be found in the List of Validations Excel files, under the 'General comments' column.
