Question

The EIOPA Guidelines (EIOPA-BoS-13/415) refer to "the 'prudent person principle' as set out in the Guidelines 22 to 30 on the System of Governance" (page 41, paragraph 4.75 (d)).

Is the reference to 'Guidelines 25 to 30' correct, or is there a typo and should it refer to Guidelines 25 to 30?

The section 'Chapter III The "prudent person" principle and the system of governance" is Guidelines 25 to 30 on pages 70 to 77 (in EIOPA/13/413 'EIOPA Final Report on Public Consultation No. 13/008 on the Proposal for Guidelines on the System of Governance).

EIOPA answer

Thank you very much for indicating this typo to us. It is correct that the Guidelines on prudent person principle are Guidelines 25-30 in EIOPA preparatory Guidelines on System of Governance (EIOPA/13/413) and therefore should be Guidelines 25-30 in EIOPA preparatory Guidelines on Submission of Information to National Competent Authorities (EIOPA/13/415), too.
