Joint Committee Report on the functioning of the securitisation regulation (SECR)

This report presents the findings of the Joint Committee (JC) of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) regarding the functioning of the Securitisation Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2017/2402, SECR). The JC’s evaluation serves two main objectives: first, to assess the extent to which the SECR has achieved its original policy objectives since its implementation in 2019; and second, to provide legislative recommendations to the European Commission (EC). This report is part of a multi-year review of the SECR.
