Question
I am from a data vendor and a a European client has asked for Complementary Identification Code (CIC) for funds. Does EIOPA provide this or is there another source that provides it.

The question has been rejected as the issue is sufficiently clear from the instructions of template S.06.02 in the ITS on Reporting. In general, CIC codes are used to classify each asset according to its type and characteristics. Annex VI-CIC table of the ITS on Reporting lays down the relevant asset categories and CIC codes for the relevant QRTs.
