Yes, the existence of an appropriate mechanism for reclaiming the inducement in case the product lapses or is surrendered at an early stage or in case the interests of the customer have been harmed (Article 8(2)(e), Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2359) should be part of C0071 where a national option has been exercised under Article 22(3) and 29(3), IDD to permit the use of such mechanism. C0071 should reflect the total payments made by an insurer to a distributor for the conclusion or maintenance of an insurance contract.
