Question

BV1502 states that “BV1502: Items "Name of single name exposure", "Loss Given Default" and "Probability of Default" must be left empty in case no "Code and type of code of single name exposure" have been provided.” if isNull({t: S.26.02.01.01, c: C0030, z: Z0001}) then (isNull({t: S.26.02.01.01, c: C0020, z: Z0001}) and isNull({t: S.26.02.01.01, c: C0050, z: Z0001}) and isNull({t: S.26.02.01.01, c: C0060, z: Z0001})) else true() At the same time, EIOPA mentions that if not LEI, the item shall not be reported under C0030. But it also mentions that Name, LGD and PD must be reported for the 10 largest single name exposures under C0020, C0050, C0060. Before the version 2.8.2 of the taxonomy, BV1502 was deactivated. Do we need to deactivate again the validation or do we need to change the sourcing of the template S.26.02?

Background of the question

Reactivation of BV1502 in the 2.8.2 taxonomy version.

EIOPA answer

The instructions for C0030 require clarification. While the only code expected to be provided is LEI, please note that the type of code needs to be chosen regardless. As the modelling merge code and type of code columns, reporting should follow dedicated entry in the EIOPA Filing Rules. Therefore, the correct solution is to provide ‘None’ value for those rows in C0030 for which no LEI is available.
