My question is relating to reporting of collateral held and pledged as per S.03.01. As per question ID 2730 my understanding is that collateral pledged should be reported in C0240 Guarantees and Commitments and collateral held should be reported in C0290 Indirect Exposures for significant counterparties. Is this in line with EIOPA expectation?

The question has been rejected as the issue it deals with has already been dealt with in 2724 - European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority and 3062 - European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
Therefore, collateral pledged should be reported in C0240 as “guarantees and commitments” while collateral held should be reported as “Risk Mitigation technique” (C0310) and not as indirect exposures in template S.37.01.
