On 10 October 2023, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) held a public event on supervisory reporting under Solvency II, attracting around 800 participants.
During the event participants received presentations on the major current developments and future expectations in supervisory reporting. Stakeholders were also updated on the taxonomy roadmap and provided with details on the major issues encountered with the taxonomy 2.8.0 and the new Implementing Technical Standard on Supervisory Reporting (Commission implementing regulation 2023/894) and Public Disclosure (Commission implementing regulation 2023/895).
Stakeholders’ view on the implementation of the ITS and taxonomy 2.8.0 was also presented and the main issues discussed.
The event was another opportunity to exchange views and concrete questions on the important area of reporting and it was greatly welcomed by the attendees.
