Question
In the template S.28.02.b (Composite undertakings) there are fields for both Non-life and Life activities for Non-life (re)insurance obligations and Life (re)insurance obligations. Could we assume that only the life activities are applicable for the life obligations and the non-life activities are applicable for the non-life obligations? Could we assume that the cells F2:G17 and D19:E23 could be removed from the template?’
EIOPA answer
In fact the cells might not always be empty. The non-life obligations stemming from life activities have to be reported in cells F2 to G17. Also life obligations stemming from non-life activities have to be reported in cells D19 to E23.
