Question
Regards the new Cyber risk template (S.14.03) in 2.8 taxonomy, and the associate LOG guidance (in the draft business package supporting SII taxonomy 2.8.0). Would the following be an acceptable implementation for checking of C0010 (e.g. in Plausibility tests): C0010 must be unique. The taxonomy would allow duplicates (due to line identifier) but these should not be reported as implied by the LOG guidance.
EIOPA answer
Current modelling for S.14.03 allows for multiple lines to be reported per one Product group code. The key column there is line identifier, which must be unique. However, there is nothing blocking filers to report same product group code twice (for example, for line identifier value 1 and 2). However, Logs suggest that in such case C0010 should follow specific pattern and be distinguished by adding ‘/+/1’ and ‘/+/2’ so assumption that it must be unique is justified.
