1. Is our understanding correct that the written premium in s.29.03 R0310C0100 + s.29.03 R0310C0110 should be equal to the written premium in s.29.04 R0080C0030 + s.29.04 C0080C0040? The ‘EIOPA Explanatory notes on reporting templates Variation Analysis templates (2018 rev)’ does not answer this question.
2. Is this interpretation correct for reporting year 2018?
S.29.03 R0310C0100: that part of the premiums written in 2018 that is not yet earned in 2018, and will be earned after 2018.
S.29.03 R0310C0110: that part of the premiums written in 2018 that is also earned in the year 2018.
EIOPA answer
1. Premiums in R0310 of S.29.03 shall be equal to premiums in R0080 of S.29.04 for all LoB.
