Question

PrepPhase_TAII_Errata_QA_DPM, Q/A 86, sheet “S.26.03”:
Why should be in fact for the cells that represent values of Assets and Liabilities after shock only for the life expense risk and lapse risk reported as “0” if simplifications are used but not for other risks?

EIOPA answer

In fact this was a mistake in the LOG for prep. phase. Whenever a simplification is used specific reporting rules apply. The situation was amended and made clear in the Final report on public consultation No. 14/052 on the implementing technical standards on the templates for the submission of information to the supervisory authorities. For prep. phase consistent approaches should be used.
