Question

Please give us a more in-depth explanation on how to fill in the different columns in S.02.02 lacking field/cell no. E.g., what is the definition of column "Value of remaining other currencies" with metric "PI/≤ 10%", and of column "Value of material currencies" with metric "PI/> 90%"?

EIOPA answer

Please note that:
-    This template shall not be submitted if the Solvency II reporting currency represents more than 90% of assets and liabilities;
-    Individual currencies need to be reported, in addition to the Solvency II reporting currency until at least 90% of the total assets and liabilities are reported by currency.

Under the item “Value of remaining other currencies” the total of currencies not reported individually needs to be reported.
Under the item “Value of material currencies” the total of the currencies that are also reported individually needs to be reported.

PI stands for threshold and indicates that under PI/<=10% the sum of currencies representing less that 10% should be reported and under PI/>90% the sum of currencies representing at least 90% should be reported.
