Question

Regarding the quantitative reporting template S.02.01 for the preparatory phase I would appreciate a confirmation on the following issue:

Cells available under Solvency II column:
Cell A14: Loans & mortgages
Cell A14A: Loans on policies
Cell A14B: Loans & mortgages to individuals
Cell A14C: Other loans & mortgages

Cells available under Statutory Accounts column:
Cell A14: Loans & mortgages
Cell A14A: Loans on policies

Besides, Q&A 63 and 66 lists the cells where the split between items is optional regarding the column on the Statutory Accounts (A14A/A14B/A14C).
However, cells A14B and A14C do not appear under column Solvency II accounts. My interpretation is that cell A14 will be the only cell with values (out of the 4 cells referred). Is this correct? Or should we report cells A14 and A14A?
Another interpretation is that cells A14B and A14C should also be available under Statutory accounts column so answer to Q&A 63/66 will make sense for these 4 cells.

Could you confirm which approach is correct?

EIOPA answer

The answer to Q63/66 are correct.
The code cells A14B and A14C were wrongly missing in the Statutory Accounts value column in the preparatory phase template.
