Question

I see some differences between the values from March file and April files.
For example, the first row is from April file and the second row is from March file. As you can see, for the same date two files have different values.
31/03/2016         1.173330  -2.33% -5.16% -5.16299220659681%

31/03/2016         1.173330  -2.33% -5.16% -5.16299798180307%

Is there any reason that the two values are different?

EIOPA answer

We have found these differences in ED on the 6th decimal (8th decimal considering it is a percentage) are due to the following reason:

For March process, equity indices data were requested through a different market data provider than in April process.
Some of requested data on April replaced data from March for the same dates.

There should not be any difference. However, it has been confirmed the data provider used for March, quoted two decimal places for OMX index data whereas the data provider used for April quoted three decimal places.
