Question

As per instructions log for S.08.01, S.08.02 & S.11.01 QRTs it is given that "On the table Information on derivative, each derivative shall be reported separately, with one line for each derivative, filling in all variables requested in that table."
Q1. Does this mean that duplicates are allowed for an instrument in table 2 (information) for these QRTs?
Q2. If yes, please provide us what fields are to be considered variables that will lead to these duplicates for these QRTs?

EIOPA answer

In S.08.01, S.08.02, S.11.01 QRTs, on the table Information on positions held, each derivative/asset held as collateral shall be reported separately in as many lines as needed in order to properly fill in all items requested in that table. If for the same derivative/asset two values can be attributed to one variable, then this derivative/asset needs to be reported in more than one line. Please also consider Q&A 752
In S.08.01, S.08.02 QRTs, on table 2, the derivative has to be reported only once, and in the particular case of derivatives having 2 pairs of currencies, they need to be reported in 2 lines but with different Derivative ID Code.

In S.11.01 QRT, on table 2, each asset held as collateral shall be reported separately, with one line for each asset, filling in all variables requested in that table. No duplicates are allowed.
