The European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) invite comments on all matters in this consultation paper on ESG disclosures under Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial sector (hereinafter “SFDR”) and in particular on the specific questions summarised in Section 3 of the consultation paper under “Questions to stakeholders”.
Comments are most helpful if they:
- contain a clear rationale; and
- describe any alternatives the ESAs should consider.
When describing alternative approaches the ESAs encourage stakeholders to consider how the approach would achieve the aims of SFDR.
