Question
In previous years together with the new version of taxonomy EIOPA has published also the draft version of the ITS for the implemented changes in the QRTs. However, this year the draft version of the ITS has not been published as part of the taxonomy files for 2.5 Solvency II Taxonomy on EIOPA website. Can you provide a link to where the draft version of the ITS has been published, or if it has not been published what is the justification for that?
Background of the question
The draft version of the ITS is very useful when the changes in the QRT are performed. It aids to change in suitable way the calculations providing the data for the filled in QRTs. Waiting until the final version that will be published when the draft versions are approved does not leave enough time for the suitable changes to be implemented before the first reporting of the QRTs.EIOPA answer
In 2020 there are not amendments for the Solvency 2 ITS and therefore there is not draft ITS published with taxonomy 2.5.0. Please note that the taxonomy 2.5.0 has only included technical corrections for Solvency 2.
